Michael J. Costa is an Archaeologist with interests in Egyptology and ancient cultures, the Occult, Ancient Egyptian religion and Eastern Philosophy. He has written over 50 books, and writes under varied Writer's Names. He started his first science fiction novel in high school at the age of 16 [the original 'Eye of the Pharaoh'], which was popular in California in the early 1990s. Michael lives in California, USA. Michael's books vary by subject, and some are intended for different audiences. One of Michael's College teachers was author, Thaisa Frank, who told him he was "a very good writer, with a prodigious imagination and insight" (From California State University [Hayward Campus] East Bay, in 1999).
Michael is also a Natural Telepath and has Chronokinesis, an advanced form of willpower that projects events ahead of Time rather than view the future or past as with Clairvoyance. Nostradamus had this ability. Telepathy involves projection of ideas into the region of other people, who then suddenly feel "inspired" by an idea or react to them; the Telepath can also perceive projected information from people who think aloud. Michael employs these types of abilities for his characters in "Horu the Guardian of Kemet" - Books 1 and 2).
One of Michael's recent books, The Lotus: Lord of the United States, is about the origin of a new superhero (influences include Batman Begins and Ironman from DC Comics), who combats an enemy from North Korea. The story starts as the main character is sent to an Asylum, recovers from his illness, and discovers the villain has infiltrated Kauai, Hawaii, and created a weapon satellite that threatens ground-based nuclear weapons. This was written weeks before the current psychological war in North Korea (2013).
