http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fictitiously
When a book is labeled "Fictional" or has "used Fictitiously" content, it does not mean the whole book is not real, rather it means the storyline is used in a Fictional setting of events.
Eye of the Pharaoh (The Flawed Emerald, c.1995) - my first novel - although it was stolen by a reviewer (Karen Weill) in 1991 and she published it as a true story in 1992 - had the story (the way I told the events) in a Fictitious way. The events did not happen according to History. The information in the story was factual, except for any religious data which is usually story-based fiction (religious stories are fictional).
If President George W Bush wrote a Fictitious story about his Presidency, does that mean he was never President of the USA? (Think outside of the book).
(My book's 1st Edition was not legally published so I do not expect it to have a Fiction label or Copyright Seal on the stolen edition. This occurred over 20+ years ago. The thief married a lawyer (as on video LINK) in case I would ever find her again and seek Justice. The FBI did not arrest her, because the Gov believed her side of the issue and went and classified it top secret.)
