An Ancient Cure for Drunkeness was found in an Egyptian Papyrus.

"...with the leaves of a shrub called Alexandrian chamaedaphne, or sometimes Alexandrian laurel.

The text recommends stringing the leaves of the evergreen plant, also called Ruscus racemosus, together and possibly wearing it around the neck."

My first publisher (1992) was a Psychologist at CSU Hayward/East Bay in California; she believed my fictional first novel was about real information, as did the US Government and NSA/CIA. When she published it she sold some $50M in as yet unpaid royalties, and when I alerted the Govt. about this, they confiscated it from her and paid me nothing, then asked a terror group (AQ) if "any American knew of their plans for global conquest" and started harassing Iran about their "Nuclear weapons" issues (Chapter 20-21). I researched Ancient Egypt prior to writing Eye of the Pharaoh (c.1990, 1995), I had read about 12 non-fiction books for that project. Content appears in the film, The Mummy Returns. The publisher died in 2020 from brain Cancer.
