Skyhold - A Cloud City Mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game.

Skyhold - A Cloud City Mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game.

DESCRIPTION: (Update):

Skyhold Cloud City (A Work-in-progress Summer Project by M7) is a city resting on an island of rock in the sky over Falkreath, thanks in part to the strange gravity field of the region. The City is in 2 parts - the City itself and the property of its Jarl adjacent nearby. The Jarl visits his Manor house at night. His estate comes with farmland, a swimming pool, statuary, lumbermill and grain mill. Guards protect most areas, except inside his Manor. The City has an Inn, a General Store, a number of independent merchants, a Bank, Ore Mines, the Government building and a buyable Player Home.

 Update: 06-27-2015:

I added the Jarl of Skyhold's Manor and its surrounding land to the City. He works in the Government building during the day, and sleeps in his Manor house at night. If you can kill him there, take his heart to the Keymaster device that you used to buy the Skyhold Estate key with and make an enchanted sword there. (Don't worry, he respawns so the City will always have its Jarl...).

Mines have Miners who work there. The General Store has 2 hireable followers and a little boy who visits areas of the City. There is a Bank with added access once you obtain the Skyhold Estate key. The Bard sings all day / night outside (street musician). The Inn and some outside merchants sell food and drink. Other merchants sell jewelry and clothing, armor, arrows, food, etc. This city has a lot of immersion considering it's located on an island in the sky due to Skyrim's strange Gravity. I hope Dragons don't ram into the City. The Skyhold Estate (i.e. buyable Player home) has interesting decor and widescreen TV (non-functional); the entrance to the City has a wall of computers there, probably for security reasons. 2 types of guards are available, both with Falkreath Crime Faction and weapons. Citizens also roam about.

Update: 6-27-15:

I added a landing site with Lift on the Floating Rock above Falkreath (for Flying Mods).
It also has a small tower. Next I added 7 Village Houses, with keys for NPCs and their independent AI (for sleep, work, etc.). Mostly these houses are for merchants, the 2 followers, and the Boy.

I also added a Barracks for the Guards (see trapdoors on surface in City); 2 door locations.

The Attack on Symbolism - Negative Associations

In today's world people are attacking Symbols after some violent crime or sociological event occurs.  Whether it is the Confederate Flag, the Templars' Black & White Flag (used by the UEIR), the word ISIS (the modern terrorist acronym or the original Egyptian Goddess), the swastika (used negatively by Nazi Germany it was originally an Asian religious symbol or cross), etc.

Human people think by association.  They associate events with people, ideas with targeted individuals, or words with other words.  It is easy to target someone in a crowd by tagging them with negative associations based on their description (this happens with Psychological Operations in the Media, tainted by Intelligence Groups).

Symbols are hieroglyphs --- words as pictures.
You can convey an entire history with one carefully placed symbol.

Just use them wisely.

Enter Fantasy...

There are some people who cannot separate "reality" from Fantasy, and seek to "prove it."  In my case, I have a Fantasy Micronation called Niihau.  It's an island.  Some people also believe, and then gossip about, that I am this "classified top secret billionaire" or "a God."  Now if you are a Doctor of Medicine this will sound correctly to my medical diagnosis; otherwise you are trespassing in my personal Fantasy realm/ Micronation.  (why only 3-Stars in the reviews?).  As anyone can legally make their own Micronation Government, why not the Gossiping people do that so I can talk about them behind their back, and spy on their imaginary assets?

Provincial Citizenship - Micronation

"All persons who have read the original Eye of the Pharaoh, the Novel by Michael J. Costa, as published before 1999 CE, are hereby Provincial Citizens of the Country mentioned in Chapter 20 - A Pharaoh's Dream, known as the United Egyptian Imperial-Republic.  This is recognized as having Dual Citizenship with the Countries of their birth or other Naturalization.  (As in USA), books written by American Authors are used for granting Citizenship in USA.  All Provincial Citizens are allowed to vote in the Provinces, adhere to the Code Caesar (series) of Laws, and are provided a Home in the Afterlife Dimension in Duat/Heaven by Lord Osiris himself.  Taxes owed the UEIR will pay for services to the Citizenry once collected by the UEIR/M7."

Island Utopia?

If there was a balanced system of Government our cultural problems would be obsolete:

1.  All Citizens would be Middle Class -- no rich or poor or homeless; the distribution of wealth would be equal.
2.  The Government would own all businesses (to pay for services).
3.  All resources would be equally distributed.
4.  All Citizens would have equal resources -- Free Food/Drink/Clothing, Free Energy, Free Health Care, Free Entertainment, Free Housing, etc. (similar to the Roman Empire).
5.  No crimes concerning money or politics would exist.
6.  A lottery would allow one citizen to live in a Palace for one week, in place of monetary reward.
7.  Laws would not be influenced by money or resources, and be written with Fairness not Vendetta.

Clothing & Sculpture in Ancient Egypt

http://blogs.ucl.ac.uk/researchers-in-museums/2015/05/20/question-of-the-week-how-do-we-find-out-about-clothing-in-ancient-egypt/

Ancient Egyptian craftsmen were exceptionally skilled and prolific in extracting and shaping a wide variety of stones. For millennia, soft and hard stones were quarried, cut, drilled, carved, and polished using a variety of tools and techniques, and it is generally agreed that abrasives played a significant role.  (Links by ARCE).
