“I am the High Priest Haroeris. I am escorting the Mummy of Osiris to his resting place in the hidden place of Abydos, He who hates looters, vandals, thieves, and organized criminals of all kinds. I offer incense, wine, gold and silk clothing on the altar of Lord Osiris, May he rejoice upon receiving it. I offer likewise to the Nine Gods of Thebes: Hail O Neith, Sakhmet, Serqet, Mafdet, and Nephthys! Hail O Sobek, Montu, Bes, and Tehuti! I offer likewise to the Great Triad of Mennofer: Hail O Ptah, Apophis, and Isis! May a painful Death come upon swift wings to those who steal from Pharaoh’s people! May those who loot marketplaces and vaults have their entrails ripped out and placed before Pharaoh’s footstool by Mafdet! May those who steal via smash-and-grab or break windows in cars and display cases suffer Pestilence and accidents! May those who desecrate sacred monuments be treated in like manner! May Organized Criminals become blinded, scorched in the fires of Ra’s light, and cast into the fire! May those who attack, steal, or vandalize property of Pharaoh suffer attacks, theft and destruction themselves! May those who commit crimes against the country of Pharaoh fail the Judgement before Lord Osiris himself! So declares the High Priest Haroeris, Lord of Ma’at and true-of-voice in the House of Silence.”
