Chapter 1: Background on Egyptian Deity Seth (Set)

Seth may have started out as a benevolent Deity in the Egyptian Pantheon, but he is best remembered for his role in the Osirian Myths as the Murderer of Osiris and the one who usurped the latter’s throne.  Seth was preparing a Magic Chest for a trick, in which the exact bodily measurements of his victim were calculated, much like Cinderella’s glass slipper.  Osiris returned home after a successful and peaceful World Conquest of the Ancient World.  He educated the barbarians of the Earth with Civilization, teaching them Agriculture, Laws and Order, Organized Religion, Textile Weaving for clothing, and non-dependence on hunting animals for food with Vegetarian diets and domestication.
Seth was envious of his brother’s successes.  He invited his brother to perform in his Magic trick of the Disappearing Box.   He asked everyone to see if they could fit into it, and finally Osiris did as only he could.  Seth nailed the box closed and dumped it into the Nile before usurping the throne and declaring himself King of Egypt.  He also usurped titles.
The people were shocked by this betrayal, none more than Queen Isis.
Isis searched for the box.  It washed up on the shores of the Nile Delta after months of drifting.  It became entangled in the roots of a tree, possibly a pine, cedar or tamarisk.  She cut this tree down and it became a Djed Pillar; she opened it up to find her dead husband Osiris; the scent of the tree was that of a dying god.  So she extended her arms as wings and fanned air into his lungs until he revived himself.  Then they mated.
On returning home to Upper Egypt to reclaim the throne, Osiris was again murdered by Seth once they met.  This time Set dismembered Osiris and scattered his bodily parts up and down the Nile Valley.  Isis searched for each part and erected a Temple or Shrine to mark its location. Isis gave birth to Horus, the rightful Son of Osiris, or the reincarnation of Osiris.
Seth discovered the heir of Osiris and declared war on him.  Horus and Isis fled to the Nile Delta for safety among the marshes.  As Horus matured, Isis educated him in Government, Archery and other Military skills, Philosophy, Law, and other important subjects via her friends, Thoth and Anubis.
Seth instructed the people to eat meat diets and Cannibalism, hunting, and other immoral acts.
Seth declared himself King and Emperor of the rest of the united World.  He attacked Horus in many battles stretching some 80+ years according to Egyptian stories.  Once Seth blinded Horus in one or both eyes, and Horus castrated Seth in return.  Seth ate lettuce poisoned with the sperm of Horus, and was declared unfit to be King.  The last battle was in the Court of the Double Ma’at Feather in which Horus was declared the Victor and rightful heir to Osiris.  Seth was beheaded afterwards, but his soul protects the Boat of the Sun God Ra in the Afterlife against the Serpent of Darkness, Apep.  After this Osiris and the other gods returned to Egypt and Osiris founded his Eternal Kingdom and ruled with mercy, Justice, and virtue.

Seth as the Creator:

Seth found his way into the Hebrew Bible via trickery and deceit.  He is the Force of Chaos, following the death of Osiris, whom was Order personified.  The dismembering of Osiris is like Marduk slaying Tiamat and creating the Living from her blood.  This is in the Big Bang Theory of Astronomy, where the original Star exploded to form stars & planets.
So Seth killed and dismembered Osiris and created Heaven and Earth from it. He also usurped the powers of the other Gods and their attributes.  Then he created Ra via divine utterance “Let there be Light!”  Ptah creates by divine utterance and thought.
As Seth was an outcast from the Gods’ union in Egypt, he found his way to the Bible by being the only Egyptian Deity residing on a volcano or mountain top as discovered by the Prophet Moses, also an outcast from Egypt.
Seth could not intervene himself so he used Moses as his proxy or mouth piece.  The other Gods would never allow this.  He gave powers to Moses over Nature.  His powers over the Chaos Spirits in Duat allowed him to create riots in the country by temporary possession.  This was revenge against Egypt on his part.
The authors of the Bible may be formerly Hyksos or Shepherd Kings, whom worshiped Seth as their god Baal, once literate.  The Hyksos had enslaved the Egyptians in North Egypt for several generations, but were illiterate except for names and superior Military technology.  They originated from Canaan, near modern Israel.  They were never slaves of Egypt, for the Egyptians were the “slaves.”

Seth as the White Jesus:

Seth had white skin with fiery red hair and a bad complexion.  Animals sacred to Seth may have red hair or skin; Donkeys, Hippopotamus, Serpents, Crocodiles, certain types of Fish and other creatures are listed.  Iron because it rusts red color is a sacred metal of Seth.  Sacrifices of these animals are found in his rituals, along with human sacrifices of people with white skin and red hair – you know, like the Western White Jesus Christ.  Anything colored Red is sacred to him, like the Planet Mars; the Coptic “Egyptian” Church has red as the sacred color of Christ.
Jesus was self-born like other Egyptian Creator gods.  He controls Storms and Earthquakes like Seth.  He can call up Fish out of the river by command.  Jesus was born at night and died in the evening.  Jesus had an unnatural birth.  His hand gesture is the hand sign of the face of Seth (2 fingers for the flat ears of Seth plus his snout).  Both failed their Judgement and were executed.  The scale of Ma’at resembles a detached Cross.  Jesus had iron Cruciform nails hammered into him, and once rode a Donkey into Jerusalem.

Seth is sometimes depicted with 2 heads of Horus and Seth, like the split emotions of a Mental Illness.  Seth is a Son of a God, and self-born as the Creator (Ptah); although the original spelling of Seth is “Set” which appears feminine ending in “t.”  Goddesses in Egypt end in “t” – Nut, Bast, Tefnut, Sakhmet, Neith, Seshet, Tauret, Ast (Isis), Anat, etc.  So perhaps Seth is actually female?  In Korean mythology there is Yin (Female, evil) and Yang (Male, good).  Is Seth possibly Transgender?
When Jesus was tortured he was flogged with a Scourge (Egyptian Flail), representing Upper Egypt.  The Crown of Thorns may be an emblem of Seth, as violence.  When Jesus was in the “wilderness” after fasting 40 days and nights he was taunted by the Devil “Satan” to use his powers to save himself.  In Egypt it took 40 days to make an Egyptian Mummy.  Fasting was a form of purification in Egyptian rituals.  Seth is God of the Desert (Wilderness).  Satan is actually Sata of the Funerary Text in chapter 87 (Egyptian Book of the Dead).  So Jesus was being taunted during someone’s funeral, like John the Baptist?  Jesus raised Lazarus to life from a tomb; Lazarus is actually spelled “Al-Asaris” (The Osiris, or the Mummy).  Jesus was crucified in between 2 thieves, as Seth the Usurper.
The Eucharist where the body and blood of Jesus are food and drink echoes the Sethian rites of Cannibalism.   This is found in the Egyptian Funerary Liturgy rites.  The element of Water is part of Seth’s storms power; thereby an element in Christian rites of Baptism, Foot washing, holy water, or walking on water.  Mary Magdalene as a prostitute fits into Seth’s archaic reign of Sin.  Seth had many concubines whom had negative attributes.
Seth has the Lunar Element stolen from Osiris, whom was killed during a Blood Moon.  The Moon disappears and reappears in 3 nights, like Jesus dying and resurrecting in 3 days.  The Halo around Christian figures is actually the Sun, blocked by their heads.  Seth stole the powers of Isis and healed people as Christ did.  The Lunar Element is the Winter Solstice, after which this is the celebrated birth of Christ, or rather the rebirth following the Death of the Sun god.  There are 5 birthdays of the Family of Osiris added to the Egyptian Calendar to make 365 days.  One of these days is Western Christmas.  Winter is the death of Osiris, and Spring is his rebirth.  Spring is celebrated in the East, hence “Easter.”
Christians pray with hands clasped together, rather than in front of the person as in Egypt.
In Egypt trees were seldom worshiped by placing offerings at their base, like a dressed up Christmas tree.  At Easter, Egyptians hid colored eggs and venerated rabbits (sacred animal of Osiris, as Wen-Nefer).
Christians bury the dead in coffins like the Box of Osiris.  There are 4 limbs in the Djed Pillar (Tree of Life), like the 4 Directions: North, South, East and West.  Though Osiris is the Judge of the Living, Supreme Ruler of the Universe, and God of Heaven, as also found in Islam – Seth merely usurped these traits as Jesus Christ.  Osiris had the title King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and Ruler of Rulers; this is applied to Christ in the prophecy of Revelation.

“…He (Set) was the third Son of Nut, white of skin and red of hair, red as a donkey with a red mane.”

“All desert animals… were regarded as children of Set, as were animals with red hair or skins, or even red-haired men. Such animals were often sacrificed ritually in propitiation of Set.”
(This is from Page 100, Ancient Egyptian Myths and Legends, by Lewis Spence © 1990 Dover Publications).

Both Seth and Osiris are “sons of God” (God Geb & Goddess Nut; or Ra).  Osiris is the god of Peace, Agriculture, Civilization, regeneration, Life, etc.  Seth is the god of Chaos, War, Protection (he protects the Boat of Ra in Duat from the Serpent-Demon Apophis/Apep), Desert, Storms, Earthquakes, and later Evil in general.  Jesus could control Storms (when he Walked on Water he calmed the Storm first) and make Earthquakes (after Crucifixion).  Osiris resurrected twice as he was killed by Seth twice, once in the Box where he drowned, and once after he resurrected the first time and was later dismembered by Seth.  Jesus resurrected once after the Crucifixion.  The second death of Jesus represents the Communion ritual where the body is like bread “broken up and distributed to his followers” (i.e. Dismembered).  Jesus died, resurrected, visited the Duat (for Judgement?), returned to Earth and ascended to Heaven.  This is basically the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

Vestals were freed of the usual social obligations to marry and bear children and took a 30-year vow of chastity in order to devote themselves to the study and correct observance of state rituals that were forbidden to the colleges of male priests.
If Mary was a Vestal Virgin – a Priestess of the Roman Goddess Vesta – then she had to be chaste and pure, and not become pregnant until over the age of 30 or 30 years of chastity.  That she was pregnant with Jesus indicates perhaps King Herod wanted to arrest her for this sacrilege?  So Herod sent forth spies to find Mary and kill her son, hence the [3] Wise Men from the East?  Jesus was supposedly “pure and chaste” because of this, and died after the age of 30.
