Economics in the Ancient and Modern World...

Why the Jews were never Slaves of Egypt

Ancient Israel and Ancient Judea were separate countries.  Judea was formed by the 12 Tribes of Juda and the source of the Jews of the Bible; Israel was founded by the Israelites whom were said to be slaves or prisoners of Egypt.  Pharaoh Merenptah conquered Israel; he was a son of Pharaoh Ramses 2 the Great.  This is not mentioned in the Jewish Bible.  Egyptians took Slaves as Prisoners from foreign conquests. Egyptians could also voluntarily become Slaves as in Temple Slaves or “Temple Servants to the Gods.”  Slaves were an Economic solution to Prisons and Poverty, or religious devotion.  Rome had Slaves after they took control of Egypt once Cleopatra VII committed suicide under Octavian Caesar.  Egyptian Farmers could also be Slaves when building Monuments, which were built to avoid civil unrest during Flood Season, such Monuments were Temples, Pyramids and Tombs.  So “Slaves built the Pyramids” is a likely possibility, but not for Western Historical sources.  Other nations had Slaves including African ones in Ethiopia and Sudan (Kush).  Egyptian workers were “paid in food, clothing and housing” when building Monuments, so are not seen as “slaves” according to Western History or Modern Egyptology.

Modern “Slavery” seems to be based on race or economics, as in Human Trafficking.  English colonists captured African people for use as Indentured Servants on cotton plantations in the Southern USA during the Colonial Period.  Corporate Slaves in Capitalism is derived from Feudal Serfs of Feudalism; they are the low-paid workers of any American Corporation.  They wear a Necktie, a symbol of Corporate Slavery, similar to a Slaves’ Yoke.  Feudal Serfs were poor farmers absent from ranks of Nobility (Military Class, as in Knights) in Europe.  Feudalism was introduced in Ancient Egypt originally, then in Japan and later Europe after the end of the Roman Empire.  Modern Prisons in USA use prisoners to make car license plates or road-side repair or sanitation, with extremely low “payment” in the Prison Economy (below Minimum Wage).  Anything below Poverty Level in Economics is a form of Slave Class in USA (except if disabled [etc.] because they obviously cannot legally work).  Native Hawaiians also worked on Plantations in the islands for low wages, until the Kingdom of Hawaii was subverted by American Businessmen into becoming a State.
