On Divine Names in Egyptian Magic

In Christianity, Prayers are directed to “Jesus Christ,” the Hebrew Messiah. Jesus is a Greek word, not Hebrew, so Christian Prayers do not go anywhere once they leave the minds of the adherent. In Aramaic, the language of “Jesus” which is a combination of Arabic and Hebrew, his name is read as “Yeshua,” which in Hebrew is Joshua. Now there is already a Joshua in the Bible, as successor to the Prophet Moses, so the 2^nd Joshua was changed to Jesus to avoid confusion. Also, prayers sent to a nameless “God” may apply to any Divine Entity, as Angels or Demons were considered as Gods prior to their entrance in Monotheism.

In Egyptian Magic/religion, the Prayers go to Named Gods or other Named Entities, so these prayers work without problems; if the Gods allow it.

My first publisher (1992) was a Psychologist at CSU Hayward/East Bay in California; she believed my fictional first novel was about real information, as did the US Government and NSA/CIA. When she published it she sold some $50M in as yet unpaid royalties, and when I alerted the Govt. about this, they confiscated it from her and paid me nothing, then asked a terror group (AQ) if "any American knew of their plans for global conquest" and started harassing Iran about their "Nuclear weapons" issues (Chapter 20-21). I researched Ancient Egypt prior to writing Eye of the Pharaoh (c.1990, 1995), I had read about 12 non-fiction books for that project. Content appears in the film, The Mummy Returns. The publisher died in 2020 from brain Cancer.
