On Divine Names in Egyptian Magic

In Christianity, Prayers are directed to “Jesus Christ,” the Hebrew Messiah. Jesus is a Greek word, not Hebrew, so Christian Prayers do not go anywhere once they leave the minds of the adherent. In Aramaic, the language of “Jesus” which is a combination of Arabic and Hebrew, his name is read as “Yeshua,” which in Hebrew is Joshua. Now there is already a Joshua in the Bible, as successor to the Prophet Moses, so the 2nd Joshua was changed to Jesus to avoid confusion. Also, prayers sent to a nameless “God” may apply to any Divine Entity, as Angels or Demons were considered as Gods prior to their entrance in Monotheism.
In Egyptian Magic/religion, the Prayers go to Named Gods or other Named Entities, so these prayers work without problems; if the Gods allow it.
