The real reason why King Nebkheperura Tutankhamon was removed from History:

If people remembered Tutankhamon, they would also need to remember why he was there, the restoration of the traditional religion and art of Ancient Egypt and the removal of the Aton Heresy of Akhenaton.
By removing all evidence of Tutankhamon the people ensured no one would remember Akhenaton. Tut did nothing wrong. He was not “canceled” by any “Cancel Culture” (as some Egyptologists like Kara Cooney believes). Tut removed the Aton Monotheism (Science) from Egypt as it was damaging the economy of the Temple Feudalism of Egypt.
Akhenaton’s reasons for wanting Monotheism is economical mostly, not religious. The Polytheist Temples owned the majority of the land in Egypt; Pharaoh had a small percentage of that land. In order to fund his Palace and administration, the Pharaoh needed revenue, usually from Farms and Temples. So Akhenaton invented his One God and a new cult religion to go with it, as a “power struggle” against the Priesthoods. He had to close the other Temples and divert revenue directly to his new City, but this action caused civil unrest (riots) in Egypt as the people did not willingly accept this new doctrine. Akhenaton feared leaving his City due to “death threats” elsewhere in the country. Akhenaton’s heirs had to invent new names of leaders prior to Tutankhamon to satisfy the people wanting Justice. When Tutankhamon became King, he first had to restore Order before the people could move out of that City. The situation was very tense and people watched the King’s actions closely. Tut wrote laws “every day” to restore Order, and declared war on Border States to restore Order and supply Tribute (revenue from conquest) to the reopened Temples for repair work. This took several years to complete. After he died, his legal heir (Horemhab) became King and was ordered (by Tut) to remove all memory of the Aton situation, including Tutankhamon. This is why Horemhab absorbed all Tut’s monuments; Horemhab also had Tut reburied in KV62 after Ay was removed as Horemhab blamed Ay for claiming to be King while Tut was away in foreign wars (with Horemhab). Ay had claimed to be King and even was “married to Ankhesenamon” while Tut was fighting the Hittites with Horemhab; Ankhesenamon wrote to the Hittites offering herself as a “peace treaty” to marry a Hittite Prince to “end the war.” Ay was Tut’s “Grand Vizier,” prior to this treason. The Mural in KV62 shows “Ay performing last rites for Tutankhamon,” and nearby was another tomb with a fake burial for Ankhesenamon containing a “Weighted Coffin” (filled with feather-filled pillows in place of a mummy). It is believed she is buried nearby KV62. Horemhab (Tut’s “Crown Prince”) was the last to enter KV62. © 2021 MJC-M7.
