Aliens are not necessarily the Messiah or Quetzalcoatl returning.
Alien mothership lurking in our solar system could be watching us with tiny probes, Pentagon official suggests…

As the morning and evening star, Quetzalcóatl was the symbol of death and resurrection. With his companion Xolotl, a dog-headed god, he was said to have descended to the underground hell of Mictlan to gather the bones of the ancient dead. Those bones he anointed with his own blood, giving birth to the men who inhabit the present universe.
(Egypt’s Osiris was the god of resurrection, with Anubis the jackal-headed god in Duat)
In some traditions, Quetzalcóatl was an Osiris-like figure, the god of agriculture and vegetation closely associated with the rain god Tláloc. And like Osiris, Quetzalcóatl was deceived by his brother, tricked into drinking a powerful intoxicant and sleeping with a priestess. Overcome with guilt, Quetzalcóatl killed himself through self-immolation, but rose again to life.
Quetzalcoatl’s return was interpreted by the Aztecs in a Prophecy, whereby he returns to oversee his Kingdom. Osiris returns to Earth to re-establish his Kingdom. Jesus Christ does that too. The Spanish Conquistadors (Conquerors) were seen as Quetzalcoatl’s return by the Aztecs, whom “welcomed them home” and gave them full access to the Kingdom. It was when the Aztecs realized the Spanish were not Quetzalcoatl that it was too late to save their civilization. Earth may need their Nuclear Weapons for something other than the human race.
