Astronomy and the Meaning of Christmas

In Ancient
Times, Agriculture (Farming) was the basis for the economy. Astronomy was important to know when to
plant, germinate and harvest the crops. The
calendar was in the Stars, as they didn’t have computers or electricity. They built Temples as Astronomical
observatories, centers of education, and collection of Grain mostly. The Gods were seen as Laws of Science – each with
their own separate doctrine, image or statue, names, identities, etc. The Temples were houses of the Gods, separate
from Palaces and each had their own Temple Lands for growing food (as
currency).
Festivals each year marked the time of
harvest. These were celebrations to
increase happiness after a year of labor.
The common people believed in
the story form of Astronomy – the Gods were like people, each represented some
chapter in the process of Agriculture per Calendar year; and each had a story
or “Myth” representing this role. Osiris was the Egyptian archetype of the
Farming process: he was killed during Harvest, dismembered like the winnowing process of separating wheat from the chaff,
and reassembled as grain is processed for food, as flour, and baked in an oven
because his body is now bread and beer. Set
was his brother who murdered Osiris and dismembered him. Set was Chaos personified, like the Chaos of harvesting
grain during Flood Season. The Nile
flooded each year during Harvest, because no one could do anything else but
harvest the grain. The Myths also told
of other Science ideas. The Eye of Ra that came down from Heaven to
punish humanity during a revolt was Sakhmet;
this was during Flood Season. Horus
changed the Flood waters into red beer or wine on orders from Ra the Sun during
this Last Harvest (Last Supper in Christianity with Jesus as Horus; from the Book
of the Heavenly Cow or “The Destruction of Humanity”).
The calendar
for the birthday of 5 Gods – Osiris, Set, Horus, Isis and Nephthys – or Epagomenal
Days (5 added days to the 360 day Egyptian Calendar) occurs after the Nile
Floods originally after Summer Solstice (Birthday of Ra); this was moved to after the Winter Solstice by Christians
who wanted nothing to do with Sun Worship.
So it occurs after Dec. 21 (Christmas is Dec. 25 usually). The Birth of Jesus from the Virgin is a
reference to when his “Star” occurs in the Constellation
Virgo. It is seen by “3” Wise Men in
some references (Wise men with 3 gifts).
The Wise Men are also called “3 Kings.”
The 3 Kings
are the Constellation Orion as seen
from Giza, where the 3 Kings are 3 Pyramids built by 3 Kings – Khufu, Khafre,
and Menkaura. These Pyramids point to a “star”
or Pyramid in Saqqara, on a map; the Egyptians kept maps using stars as points
of interest. The Pyramid in Saqqara is
the Pyramid of Iesesi Djed-ka-ra,
which is near the Mastaba of Shepseskaf (the Mastaba looks like a horse trough,
or “Manger”). Djed-ka-ra was reborn via
the tomb on that day, meaning he was a mummy by that date. This was in the Old Kingdom or Pyramid
Age. Of course this may have nothing to
do with that King, just the reference to his name and Pyramid as written in
Roman times. The name Jesus in Latin is
Iesus, which is similar to Iesesi in Egyptian (minus the ending “I”). Djed-Ka-Ra is the Trinity of “Father (Ra), Son or Christ (Djed), and Holy Spirit
(Ka). Jesus was “born in a Manger in
Bethlehem.” The Manger was the Mastaba,
a form of tomb, and he was “born” there as in Egyptian burials the body is in “fetal
position” for spiritual rebirth. Bethlehem in Hebrew means “House of Bread.” This is a hieroglyph for a building or House, such as an Egyptian Mortuary Temple or “House of the Dead” where mummies are
produced. It takes about 40 days to make an Egyptian mummy, fasting during this period is a
religious ritual. When Jesus “was
tempted in the Wilderness after fasting 40 days” is a reference to making a
mummy. In the Old Kingdom the mummy was “immersed in Natron” for 40 days then
raised up. The Baptism of Jesus was the Immersion into (Salt) Water in the
Jordan River, which empties into the salty Dead Sea. The resurrection of Lazarus is the raising up
of “The Osiris” (Egyptian Mummy) out
of the Natron solution. The burial of
Jesus in a tomb – the Egyptian word for Burial is QRST (Christ) – is an
Egyptian ritual. The actual Jesus Christ
was not a person from Roman Judea, but an Egyptian Pharaoh of the 5th
Dynasty. Other titles like Son of God is Son of Ra in Egyptian; the Good God is NFR NTR; the Good Shepherd (Osiris); the King of Kings and Lord of
Lords (Osiris, in the Book of the Dead),
etc. The teachings of Jesus are also
referenced in Egyptian sources and Philosophy.
The Battles
of Horus & Set are seen in the Constellations
of Hercules and Draco. This is also
found as Archangel Michael versus the Dragon, or Marduk and Tiamat in Ancient
Babylon. As Jesus is often portrayed as the
Sun rather than a Star, this is similar to the Knights of the Round Table with
the King at the top of the circle, also in the Last Supper with Jesus at the
middle of the table.
The
similarities between Biblical Characters and other traditions are because the Science is the Same Everywhere; Astronomy does not change. The Astronomy behind the stories is for the
Priests or Scientists to use; the Myths or stories are for the common people, during
festivals like Christmas. An example of
this is Aton worship by Akhenaton; not
as Monotheism but as Science with the Art form of Realism.
