Chapter 15 - what King Tutankhamon died from...
In Chapter 15 of Eye of the Pharaoh / The Flawed Emerald, I wrote:
Tutankhamon went hunting. A week later he had a fever (and took "poison" - possibly medicine?), and later died. No mention of a leg injury, although that was his clubbed foot on his mummy, and he wouldn't be using it much for walking. His mummy (2008 - Zahi Hawass) had "Malaria" germ on it, as Malaria causes Fevers. No one knew this before the recent examination, especially not when the book was written.
The tomb (KV23) of King Ay had "hunting scenes" painted in the burial chamber. This was thought to be Tutankhamon's original tomb, usurped by Ay who buried Tut into KV62, which is Queen Ankhesenamon/Pharaoh Ankhkheperura's tomb. The "same artist" painted both tombs, according to Dr. Zahi Hawass of Egypt.
