The Egyptian Word AMN: Why Christian Prayers Work? © MC 2022
You may have noticed that in Ancient Egypt the word or name of a Deity causes an action, as found in Magic Spells or Prayers. Without the Deity Name, or “Word of Power”, the prayer or Magic spell doesn’t work. When Christians formed their religion, they used elements of the former Theology just as Romans did with the previous Greek religion, and Babylonians did for the Sumerians. One element was the Deity name added to a Christian Prayer (…“Amen”).
Amen (AMN) is the Ancient Egyptian Deity of Air/Wind, Fertility, Wealth/Materialism or Prosperity, Generation, War, and the God who Hears Prayer. His Temple was in Waset (Thebes), near modern Luxor, in Upper Egypt. Waset was once the Capital City in the 18th Dynasty, Egypt, similar in importance to Jerusalem. He was fused with Ra to become Amon-Ra (the vowels in his name are added by Egyptology; Amen, Amun, Amon, Amin, etc.). Amon-Ra was the Solar Creator and King of the Gods in Egypt.
