So "Journey said: Book was not  what I expected. I thought it would contain actual spells."

The Spells are written in English with Chronokinesis, so if you actually used the spells instead of complain about the book, you would realize this.  @$$holes.   The spells are actually in the book.  You imply actual "ancient spells" perhaps? The Spells are written as they work.
